HUMAN SERVICES COUNCIL MOVES TO A NEW LOCATION
For the past 50 years, the Human Services Council’s (HSC) mission has been to improve peoples' lives by connecting them to opportunities, information and services that respond to their individual and family needs. HSC has experienced growing pains over the last several years and has recently moved into a brand new building located two doors down from its former location on Hazel Dell Avenue. The new address is 201 NE 73rd Street, Suite 101.
In 2005 the Human Services Council added the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), now part of Volunteer Connections, to its list of services, which can be reached at 624-9088. Other HSC Programs include the Southwest Washington Agency on Aging (694-6577), Long Term Care Ombudsmen Program (624-9071) Senior Information and Assistance (694-8144), Medical Transportation (694-9997), Interpreter Services (258-2100), and Employment Transportation (258-2103).
